I am a postdoc at the University of California, Davis in the Kowalczykowski Lab.  Our lab is primarily concerned with Homologous Recombination of double strand beaks of DNA.  I am currently working on real time imaging of single molecules of BRCA2 and RAD51 as they interact on on DNA.  To do this our lab has incorporated custom built optical traps onto fluorescent microscopes.
